Soft drink campaign ad

 This is my ad for my soft drink targeted to struggler boys: atomic energy

First use of photoshop

 first photoshop attempt

during my first time using photoshop I experimented with the colour and paint tools. I loved the brightness and fun this image already possesed so decided to use a pastel colour scheme, starting with the pastel purple i used when first trying to place a background. Then, i played with the paint tool to follow the outline of the models heads and repeated this using the paint fill tool. I also discovered that you can change the head of the paintbrush to different shapes and patterns, so i demonstrated this with the star shapes in each corner of the text. Finally, I discovered the arch tool for my text and played with fonts until I found one that matched the novelty of the photo.

First use of SLR camera

 I chose this photo as my favourite because I liked the moment it captured and the relationship shown between the three models. It portrays the fun and naturalness of the moment and I used the edit tool on photos to brighten the picture in the attempts to reflect this. I used the portrait mode to capture the faces of the models more clearly whilst the background fades out more which I think is a great way of capturing their expressions in a more natural way.
